Tree-mendous Rotary Club Partnership with Wheat Ridge Forestry and Open Space
As part of its commitment to bolstering the charm of Wheat Ridge, the Wheat Ridge Rotary proudly announces the launch of its inaugural Tree Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to enrich the city's tree canopy while easing the financial burden for residents who yearn to add a touch of nature to their yards but can’t afford a new tree this Spring.

In collaboration with Wheat Ridge Parks, Forestry & Open Space, and a matching grant from Rotary District 5450, the Rotary Tree Scholarship Program will offer eligible residents the opportunity to obtain a tree at no cost, sourced directly from Colorado State University's esteemed nursery. The Rotary Club extends complimentary delivery and planting services to those unable to undertake the task themselves or just need a little extra help.

Interested residents can apply for a FREE tree by completing a straightforward application process. Please note that scholarships are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the first (18) qualified homeowners.

Wheat Ridge Parks, Forestry & Open Space's annual Tree Sale will take place on Saturday, April 20th, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday, April 21st, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Park.
